BASIL Aristotle

A variety of greek basil which is perfect for growing on the windowsill or in small urban containers. Aristotle is a cocktail flavour power-house. It’s beautiful leaves and aromatic foliage makes this a perfect urban growing basil variety with many uses.
They are easy to grow in containers, pots & window-boxes.


Cucumber ‘Burpless Tasty Green’ produces crisp, delicious fruits with no bitterness, and as the name suggests, are easy to digest. Refreshing & cool with grassy notes brings out the delicate subtle herbal notes in gin. The 25cm (10″) long cucumbers are packed with flavour and have a very high vitamin content.

Rosemary ‘Officinalis’ Bee friendly

Rosemary with its needle-like leaves has such a wonderful and pungent pine fragrant flavour, It’s a symbol of friendship, loyalty and remembrance in many parts of the world.

THYME ‘Olde English’

During the 18th century, thyme was used as a hangover cure – handy! Subtle mint and lemon notes it’s a perfect herb to provide a slightly floral aroma to a cocktail or great combined with other herbs. One of the most useful kitchen herbs for stews, stuffings and bouquet garni. This aromatic, evergreen thyme will grow almost anywhere in containers, rock gardens, borders, and even cracks in paving.

Delivery details

We use Royal Mail in the UK to deliver our products in the UK and to Western Europe only.

We aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed.

If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period. For example:

  • stock availability
  • your delivery address details
  • when you make your selection, and
  • circumstances impacting upon delivery by Royal Mail

We reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods without prior notification.

BASIL Aristotle

Sowing outside: Sow seed outside from June but can be started indoors and planted out after risk of frost. Can be grown indoors all year to harvest anytime.

Uses: Mix with other flowers and herbs for a salad, omelettes, pastas and garnishes.


Sowing outside: April to May. Sow seeds on their sides 1/2" deep. Transplant your cucumbers either to a grow-bag or pot in a sunny position once all risk of frost has passed. When ready to plant out, acclimatise by planting outside during daylight hours for 7 days. Water often to keep compost moist. Water when fully established and support with a cane.


Sowing outside: Start seeds inside and don't plant outside until the plants are about 10cm.4in high. Prefers full sun or partial shade in a well drained soil.


Sowing outside: Start indoors from February-April. Germination takes 18-24 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant to a larger pot and keep inside until risk of frost has passed. Acclimatise to outdoors over 7-10 days.
